Tsi-La: Behind Our USDA Organic Seal...
You may have seen the label on your favorite food at the grocery store. Or even skimmed past the seal affixed to your new bottle of Tsi-La. But...

Have you ever wondered what the "USDA Organic" logo means? Well...

For a product to be deemed organic it must be composed of at least 95% organically produced ingredients. Plus, the organically produced ingredients must be processed, handled and labeled according to strict government's standards.

So, the next time you see "USDA Organic" you'll have some insight as to why USDA Organic is considered the best of the best for you and your family.

Tsi-la: How to Spice Up Your Homemade Rose Perfume

We recently shared a blog that showed you how to make your own rose perfume. But, did you know that...

Although the recipe called for rose oil, some of the drops can be replaced with other essential oils to create a more complex perfume? For example:

Try adding Sandelwood as a base note or

Layer it with one of your favorite Tsi-La Aromatic extraits.

The sky is the limit with what you can create!

Annie

Tsi-La: Make Your Own Single Note Rose Perfume

Have you ever wanted to make your own perfume? Tsi-La wants to show you how!

Why not try to make our single note rose perfume recipe?

You'll only need:

2 ounces of Grain Alcohol
20 drops of Rose Absolute
One small funnel
Some coffee filters
A bowl and
One empty bottle - large enough for storing it

Directions:

1) Using the small funnel, pour 2 ounces of Grain Alcohol into the empty bottle. 2) Carefully add 20 drops of rose absolute to the 2 ounces of Grain Alcohol. 3) Securely place the top on the bottle and shake gently. 4) allow the mixture to age for 4 weeks. This step is very important since the aging process allows the aromatic constituents and energy of the plant to fuse with the alcohol.

After the aging process...

1) Chill the "perfume" briefly. 5) Next, filter the chilled perfume by gently pouring it into a coffee filter situated over a bowl. Catch the perfume in the bowl. 6) Using the small funnel, pour the mixture from the bowl back into your bottle.  7) Chill and repeat until all traces of undissolved rose oil are removed.

Seem easy? It really is!

Let us know what you think....
