Sultry Scents Can Warm Your Soul and Your Wardrobe Through The Winter

Certain essential oils, which are the key ingredient in organic perfumes, have wonderful warming properties that can enhance both your inner health and outer beauty.

Vanilla is a comforting and balancing scent that has been used for centuries in fragrances and perfumes. Its soothing aroma can be helpful in relieving tension and anxiety, and may help to lower blood pressure. The sedative properties of vanilla oil can induce a tranquilizing effect, and can help to promote sleep when used before bedtime.

Nutmeg is often described as a “winter” oil, due to its warming properties. Used in proper proportions, it’s effective as an analgesic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, a stimulant, a tonic and anti-oxidant. In aromatherapy, nutmeg is used in the treatment of arthritis, gout, rheumatism, poor circulation, nausea, nervous fatigue, and anxiety.

Ginger essential oil is warming and energizing. It’s a favorite of massage therapists to use during the long, cold months of winter. It’s effective as an analgesic, antiseptic, antidepressant, antispasmodic, expectorant, febrifuge, rubefacient, stimulant, tonic, and carminative. Ginger oil has also been proven to help ward off feelings of loneliness and depression, especially in the winter.
Our amber accord has a warm, smoky scent with warm undertones. Its earthly and exotic aroma encourages harmony, calm, and balance.

Two selections within Tsi-La Natural Perfumery & Organics line of pure, clean fragrances combine a number of warming winter essential oils in their ingredients, and are excellent additions to your cold weather bundling.

Tsi-La’s Saqui is a warm and provocative blend of ginger, clove, and nutmeg. These essential oils mingle with sensuous vanilla orchids and a delicate infusion of Valencia orange, Italian bergamot, and pomelo to enhance stimulation, temptation, and attraction.

Kesu, another popular fragrance in Tsi-La’s line, features elegant notes of warm amber and precious rare woods combined with the seductive, smoky incense of narcotic jasmine petals, davana, exotic spices, and fresh lime - creating a mysterious, unisex fragrance that’s steeped in sensuality.

To add some heat to the winter months for you and your partner, organic perfumes that contain warming essential oils – such as Tsi-La’s Saqui and Kesu - offer a sensuous and effective solution.
